Created By: Lakers Dynasty 2000
Length: :31
Size: 3.4MB
Description: With the current officiating, I felt it would be nice to create an advertisement for the officiating fellas. Afterall, we now see their agenda towards our Lakers. So here is my ad FOR THE REFS! These guys are manly, because they sure know how to blow!
(How To Download: Left click on a link, it will take you to the Rapidshare page of where that file is hosted. Scroll down, and click on FREE download, then on the next page a timer will count down from 30 seconds. After the timer is done, the file link will appear and you can download the video. The only downside to Rapidshare is you may only download 2-3 videos every hour. )
Mods Sticky, and I hope you get the subliminal message - though Laker fans CLEARLY will. _________________ LD2k's Twitter

..I like how the camera pans off of the tripping foul just before it happens.
I know this is going against the grain on this board, but Kobe fouled Flip guys. Just before Kobe strips the ball, take a look at his knee bumping Flips leg. Flips leg obviously moves very unnaturally and then falls to the ground. This was directly caused by Kobe who did not have good defensive position when making the play.....and that by the rulebook is the definition of a foul.
I Bleed purple and gold, but i dont believe for a second that that was a blown call.
The overall message of the video i can agree with, i think the referees definitley have an agenda...these games are not being unbiasly officiated, but you should have picked a different play to use for the video because that ladies and gents, was a foul.
Exactly, if anything, it was a travel before he even put the ball on the floor. _________________ LD2k's Twitter

The problem with the call wasn't that it was questionable. Maybe it was a foul, maybe it wasn't. Most people wouldn't have a problem with it except that on the other end of the floor, Kobe was getting hammered without any whistles. It's the inconsistency that's a problem. There was barely any contact on that play but they blow the whistle versus some of the ridiculous non-calls on the other end of the floor. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks

Not even close to a travel. He didn't even get his foot down on his second step before he started his dribble. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks

There is no doubt that it was a foul, heh. Take off the Laker goggles for a moment. You can clearly see that Kobe's knee bumps Murray's leg off trajectory as hes stepping. Kobe caused him to fall. Murray did not slip, and did not travel.
Kobe is my fav basketball player of all time, but im not going to excuse him for that play. Im not saying the game was fairly officiated at the Laker offensive end, but in now way was calling that play a foul a bad call. You can send that video to the NBA office 100 times and they would just hold up the rule book and laugh at you.
It is not a travel. It is a foul. It sucks because everything happened at the same time, and Kobe got all ball. If the incidental leg / foot contact didn't happen, it would have been a clean steal.
To those that disagree, watch the feet on the original unedited video and you will see what Shansen and I are talking about.
