hes playing his butt off so teams will trade for him during the summer.the question is whether he'll continue to play like that once hes on the team he wants or whether he'll get ''injured'' again |

He was "injured" trying to force a trade to LA. He'll be a Laker, unless KG is one first. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. Just ask the Rockets and Pistons about Mike James, his impact, his defense, and how they missed him after he left.
Mike James is shooting a lot because he's playing for the Raptors. His role was defense when he played for the Pistons on their championship run. He was also a part of the Rockets big finish last season. |

Exactly Supa, Mike James is a very good PG who is trying to be Toronto's second option to Chris Bosh. If the Lakers had him via FA he would be a third option at best scoring and would be more free to do what he does best... be a very good PG, play D and score when needed. James, Banks or Terry, if Lakers can reel in one of those in offseason that will be a great start. |

Jamison got 27pts 4 rebs 4ast and the W
When do you think Boozer will decide to play some defense?
Also heard on NBA Coast to Coast that the Jazz with Boozer are like 6 games below 500 and they are 4 games above 500 without Boozer, or some such number.Forget the exact numbers but they do better without Boozer.

Not enough interior defense. Kwame is a positional defender, but in order to become an elite team, we need a shot-blocker/help-defender down there to contest shots. Boozer is not that guy. He'll make us a good regular season team, but not good enough to reach the Finals. |

Makes me think Boozer, the stat padding Loozer. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Boozer is just trying to put up numbers so that teams WILL want him. Utah hates him, he hates Utah. He's just doing everything in his power to get that P&G uniform on. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. Why? Boozer's not much of a team player. More of a black hole on offense, an open hole on defense and a butthole everywhere else. |

Boozer's not the best defender but I don't think the stats tell the whole story when it comes to Utah.
When Carlos was out they had Okur playing the 4 with Collins and Ostertag maning the middle. So what happens when Okur gets beat? He has 2 decent defenders covering for him inside along with the ever so lurking Kirilenko.
Once Boozer is back they slide Okur back to the 5 spot. So now when Carlos needs help you're stuck relying on Okur to rotate over and play defense which everyone knows is not his strong suit.
Offensively there is no doubt a Boozer/Okur front line is solid but it just doesn't work defensively having both of them on the floor together. |

Boozer isn't the best defender but I wouldn't complain if we got him. Having Kwame as the starting center where he flourishes and Boozer at PF is >>>>>>>> than the Mihm/Kwame combo. Kwame would still be the one defending the likes of Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.
I don't see how anyone could complain about or act like they don't want the Lakers acquiring Boozer and James this summer. That would be a significant upgrade that would easily make the Lakers a 50+ win team next season. |
