Yea he played really well. Hopefully his back will be fine as it looked like he was holding it in pain in the 4th quarter. |

Lakers need to go find Mike D'antoni and hire him as an assistant coach and run his offense with Nash and also have Kobe part of it too on iso's. This Princeton offense is not going to work for Nash. Our money spent goes to waste if you don't run the right offense for a two time MVP.

They aren't going to be the subsitution patterns. Are subs will revolve around Dwight. All our defense revolves around dwight. Our subs were in this game even with bledsoe almost getting a triple double.
Meeks' shots werent falling but he got to the line pretty well. That is a good quality for a shooter, he was still able to get some points.
Steve blake will have someone very good to play with, he's not great, but he made some open threes.
I didnt really see anything from jamison.
I really hope hill is okay. He played wonderfully tonight and our bench is much better with him in the game.
Ebanks looks like he might become a consistent contributor.
The princeton offense is hard, and it shows in the games. However, there hasn't been one real game with a full roster. The plays and the schemes they've been practicing the most haven't been featured in the preseason.
We might have ran some with one of the subs instead of a starter, but unlike many teams who claim depth, we have a different kind.
We have STARTER depth, easily the best 5 starters in the league. Each one of them brings a whole lot to the table. We have 4 players in the top 20, and metta world brings in the best D out of it.
All five of them will be able to take advantage of the bench match-up. We are counting on our starters, all we need from our 2nd unit is to not lose points. If we get the princeton to run smooth, our second unit could become effective. |

that would be taking it to another extreme. we don't need 6-seconds-or-less, OR the princeton offense. we just need nash with the ball in hands, preferably with a big up high setting a screen (but even that's not required) and just letting him go. that's it.
his first instinct now, almost every trip up the court, is to get rid of it immediately so they can set up the princeton. if this continues into the regular season it will be criminally stupid. |

You can see Nash has trouble breaking guys off the dribble w/o a screen. Man Bledsoe is a beast on both ends of the floor. |

If we let Brown go I'd want JVG. I know....I'm the only one wanted him here. |

Since JVG has been out of the game for so long I have a hard time believing he'd be a big upgrade over Brown. Not to mention there's got to be some weird Van Gundy issue with Dwight now after the SVG incident.
Did Jerry Sloan officially retire or is he available? |

Look on the bright side.
One of the first games where the lakers actually competed.
Hill looked terrific. He was like the only one really going after the boards sometimes. He is our Manna from Heaven.
Our scrubs as a whole played a little better.
Steve Blake played a great game, hitting three pointers, setting players up with great passes and controlling his turnovers, and playing lock-down "chair" D against Bledsoe. |

I can't believe how many are holding onto this untruth as fact!!
SVG does not blame Howard. He now says it was the Magic organization's fault....not Howards. Magic tried to blame D12 for everything to harm his rep and build up their own. SVG speaks to Howard often and was the 1st one to call and congratulate him after he was traded here. |

I was thinking the same thing. The Clip's are better these days but until they hoist quite a few trophies, wishful thinking, , what 'rivalry'?
I never liked their move here or having to share a stadium with them varmints. _________________ Mama, There Goes That Mamba. |
