I was watching the Wasserman workout video that was in Santa Monica and you can see Mitch Kupchak sitting there watching Mitchell closely.

Who's the last athleticism only player to succeed in the NBA? DeAndre Jordan?
IMO it feels like he's D-League talent. Seems like they're a lot of these types of players there.

Mitchell is not an athleticism only player. He has some nice tools. Could have snuck into the lottery if he declared as a freshman.

Clippers pick at 25 and minnisotta picks at 26. Draft express and nbadraft.net have him being drafted at 24 and 27.

His questionmark is motor. That's it. If it weren't the case, he's a healthy KMart and would have been a #1. Enough skills and physical tools are there. He can learn post game. He has a developing midrange J.

Raw athletes make good draft picks, even if they're wing players. Just depends if they work at it.

Gerald Wallace
Trevor Ariza
Serge Ibaka
Travis Outlaw
Josh Smith

Yea, that's true and we need as many young athletes as possible. Do you think Mitch might be planning to move into the 1st round?

While I'd like to see that happen, I don't think it's likely.

A move up to an early 2nd rounder would be nice. Plenty of prospects.
