That's how I feel about him too, but, even that would be a good pick at #48.

At least it would be the Lakers drafting athletic talent that can play on both ends.

Mike, watching Siva's mechanics, think he's workable in terms of getting a better jump shot?

I do like his feistiness and athleticism.

His mechanics are fine as long as he has the balance, but he can't hit off the run in more difficult body control situations like Canaan.

I think he may be a floater-based attacker, though that's difficult in the NBA.

Maybe employ Siva with shooters out there to space the floor.

Scroll down towards the bottom where it lists the leaders of each test. Siva is one of the leaders in almost every category. Definitely more athletic than I thought from watching his tape.

I wouldn't take that too seriously. It really depends on the 1 on 1 workout.

But, would it really be surprising to get outworked by a guy 6'5" that's just as explosive?

There's a reason one guys is lottery, and the other is a mid 2nd rounder.

Pass. He's Jordan Farmar without the jump shot.

He's more athletic than Jordan Farmar. Not sure if he has a jump shot. His shot selection was pretty sound in college. He was asked to play pressure defense, which I like.

Can anyone give me a good reason why the hell solomon hill would drop to 48, and why the lakers are not interviewing him?

Lakers are usually at a lot of group workout settings.

As for the interviews, beats me. I'd do it for them.

Solomon Hill is on the same line as Draymond Green and Ron Artest. Both late 1st rounders. Green had great contribution for GSW in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Exactly. Very strong body and good quick feet, as well as defensive IQ, makes a good defensive player that can guard more positions.
And top that off with a nice jumpshot.

If he falls to 48, that would be incredible. I would trade for the 23rd or 26th pick to take him.

But for some reason I feel like the lakers are not looking at him at all.

On a side note, didn't nick van exel drop to our pick because he said all the wrong things at interviews?

He's in there, watch the entire thing. 7 mins and change he puts a real nice and 1 mixtape move on a big along the baseline with the dish for the finish.

While I take most of their stuff with a rather large grain of salt, wagesofwins draft projections the past couple of seasons have been pretty good. They have Siva in the Bust category.
