Please don't do it Mitch!
Quote: | "Right now I’m just working out and making sure that I just stay in shape and I’m going to weigh the options as the season approaches and see what happens," Christie told RealGM Radio. "I’m feeling pretty good, a lot better that I did than the last time I was out on the court and I’m just trying to make sure that when I step out on the court that I can play the way that I want to play." |
It really looks like they did the interview to promote Jackie Christie's hideous taste in fashion:

On the other hand, picking him up is the ultimate slap in the face to Queen fans...Also, he was a Laker in the past, before he was a Queen...Our number 8 prior to Kobe. LOL. I wouldn't mind signing him for the minimum, purely for defensive puproses though. Have him coming off the bench for 15-20 mins...Nothing I have high hopes for, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt and definitely has a chance of improving us...PeACE _________________ http://ourworld.cs.com/DEEEEzzzz%20NuTz/lakerslkobej.bmp |

The only thing he made clear was that he wasn't a starting quality player anymore. He probably CANT hold up for 30+ minutes like he used to, but he still averaged 1.76 steals in Orlando with minimal playing time and was definitely playing good defense...I'm not saying we need to do this, I simply wouldn't mind seeing him contributing off the bench. He's also a vet, which our team seems to be having a shortage of as of now. I see no reason to hate on this potential move...Peace _________________ http://ourworld.cs.com/DEEEEzzzz%20NuTz/lakerslkobej.bmp |

Have you guys seen the fashion photos of him on his wife's website. The poor guy looks to be in torture. Now, I ain't no looker myself but, he sure as hell ain't no model. Look at the mug on that guy. I think he's too broken down for a comeback. Stick with being a metrosexual. You made your bed Doug, now lie in it. |
