Dude seriously reminds me of Pau but with some 3 point range.
He's not as big and long as Pau but his moves are very crafty and his ball handling skills are much better than Pau.
I wouldn't mind if the Lakers can trade Randle to get a #8-10 pick.
My dream would be to pair WCS & Kaminsky upfront. Then there would be no need to spend money on Kevin Love. _________________ #11/08/16 America became GREAT again

I'm going to play along with you because I can't help but entertain similar thoughts...except with a slight variation of your proposal.
My blueprint, which is predicated on us getting the 1st pick, would be to attempt to pair that top pick with WCS by using Randle & Houston's no.1 to try to move up and snatch WCS too.
I wouldn't want to trade Randle just because he's a trade piece. I think he's going to be special. But a Towns/WCS or WCS/Kaminsky frontline is intriguing, especially if can get a free agent small forward in the summer. |

I like Kaminsky, but I think he is going to struggle defensively at the NBA level. Ashley was abusing him pretty badly yesterday. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Agreed. I expect more from Kaminsky than just spotting up behind the arc.
Triple threat high post player with 3pt range? Absolutely. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Kaminsky is a really good player, but this statement is nuts. Pau is an amazing ball handler for a 7 footer. |

Ya Pau would push the break once a year.. But Kaminsky does dribble moves in the halfcourt every game |

I wouldn't trade a Kaminsky pick for Randle.
But I would trade a collection of any other assets we possess. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

And Pau didn't? Maybe less so the past few years, but certainly 08-10 he proved himself as the best ball-handling big in the game, save maybe for KG. Kaminsky has a long way to go to develop Pau's offensive versatility. |

It'll be interesting to see how he fares against NBA bigs. It's one thing to beast BIG 10 (or whatever they're called today) big men. He's done well of course but it'll be a challenging transition. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Trade Randle for a pick in the 8-10 range? Am I missing something here? |

He'll be fine on the offensive end. Defensively and on the boards might be another story though. I still like him though. |

I see the same triple threat skills and straight line drives. Yeah Mirotic has a pretty polished 3 ball, but Kaminsky can get there. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

He will have problems defending at the next level. Not strong enough to play C, not quick enough to play PF. I see him as a backup C. |

Wait. He has a good frame and can add muscle, but he can't develop that? _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Wait. He has a good frame and can add muscle, but he can't develop that? | Some players can't. He's only 235 lbs, too small to play C. He got pushed around in the post by 230 lb Ashley from Arizona. |

I don't expect him to be a star player.
But I do expect typical body maturation at the NBA level when most players gain 10-20 lbs. over their respective careers.
Unlike certain players in the lottery, he has a frame that can handle it. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
