Good to see him knocking the rust off and showing some of what he has left. I hope he can play 65+ games at 28+ mpg, if so I think the season will be a success. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Someday we may have someone else who puts up stats nearly as good as Kobe. But he won't be anywhere close to the competitor and champion, or even the leader that Kobe has been. Stop comparing him to Jordan and appreciate him for what he was, because we'll never have another one like him. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers
Kobe turned back the clock yesterday. Vintage Kobe. You have to consider the competition but it was great to see. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
I am really loving the way Kobe has played so far this preseason. He's not forcing anything and he's letting the young bucks set him up with easier shots. It's also great to see him 3 point shooting stroke back so far. If he can play like he has in preseason during the reg season for 30mpg he can have a WAY more efficient and better season than last year. Something like: 21ppg/4rpg/3ag/46fg%/35%3pt/2 TOPG
He's jumping straight up, and shooting the ball with more arc than he used to (prob to compensate for the shorter vert)
It looks like he's focused on shooting the ball at a higher clip and hoping to get more open catch and shoot 3's, which will help him in the ppg department and keep the game easy for him.
Keep it up KB! _________________ Maybe you think it's completely innocent. Maybe you don't. But there's no denying that what the rule book says means a lot less than what the NBA wants at any given moment. -Tim Donaghy

The youth movement might extend Kobe career for few more years. Kobe is far from finished it looks like he has practiced his three point shooting in off season his release and touch looks much improved.

Dudes been doing it since pre season started. I've said so many times now that Kobe is going to make all the doubters pay again for writing him off this year. He's back. _________________ "Bryant has been the second best player in the NBA for over a decade, but the number 1 player changes every other year. Proud of Kobe. He's been taking a lot of heat these past two seasons not only from the media but also from the fanbase also. He's been playing absolutely phenomenal in his new role. The toll on his legs from bringing up the ball made him a less effective shooter these past two seasons. With Russell and Clarkson bringing up the ball in the half court, he can just get to his spot and shoot the ball which will conserve a lot of energy. He's also been making some very good passes as well.

It also doesn't hurt to get an 11 year old injury taken care of when ur his age. His shot looks so pure right now. _________________ "Bryant has been the second best player in the NBA for over a decade, but the number 1 player changes every other year. I'll just keep repeating my two main points about Kobe:
He's the greatest I've ever seen play the game.
He's better than MJ.
Cant argue against either one if you look at things objectively and not through nostalgic Jordan point of view. It's not just about media awards _________________ "Bryant has been the second best player in the NBA for over a decade, but the number 1 player changes every other year. Kobe has looked smooth in pre-season after some initial rust, and playing more off-the-ball will definitely help keep him healthy. But I wonder whether guarding bigger, stronger SFs will eventually wear him down. It's probably better than having him chase quicker guards around, plus judging from pre-season he's just going to go for steals rather than guard his man straight up, and leave it to Hibbert to clean up his mistakes - which is one way of doing things, I guess.
I guess there'll also be lots of cross-matching to hide Kobe against the opponent's weakest offensive player.
Let's go Kobe. Would love to see him have a healthy and memorable season. 20 years on the same team is a remarkable accomplishment. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I would like to see him play either 10 minutes in the first and fourth quarters or 5 minutes every quarter. Let him go hard when he is in there. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
