We miss LNJ out there. He took it upon himself to direct the defense when he was on the floor. Up to the coaches now to figure this out. |

IT had what 1.25 good years. There's a reason why he's been traded so many times. I hope the best for him. But I just don't see it. Not pissing or moaning. Just calling it like I see it. If you can make me see how IT can effectively defend on this team - I'll happily change my tune.
Having said that - it's 1 game -- so fingers crossed (which is a drop off from the feeling of this team prior to the trade) |

That's bull (bleep). Lonzo has been a very pleasant surprise on defense. He causes a hell of a lot more problems for opposing offenses than we saw from IT, and the ball moves when he initiates the offense. Your clueless comment is ironic at best. |

Yep, I think Randle has been doing a great job, but we need one long athletic big for nights like these. |

Lol Lonzo was the whole reason why we were competitive against the top teams... if you really think Lonzo is bad for the team, I feel bad for you and your personal bias.
The kid is 6’6”, his size gives the average 6’2” point guard fits, he rebounds, throws Brady-like passes down the court, gets guys easy buckets and makes everyone on the team better. There are +\- stats that prove this. |

Lazy coaching from Luke. When Mehjri was in he should've had Brook in to pull him out of the paint and have an extra body to block out on the boards. |

I think we should all relax and give IT and the rest of the team a chance to prove themselves... these next 4 days will be crucial in building a identity |

Btw we won last time in Dallas, with Lonzo playing
Dallas couldn’t punish 6’6” Lonzo Ball on defense. |

Personal biased no but making him the savior of the Lakers is a bit short sited |

Thanks D'antoni! LOL -- Anyway - you can see it in the eyes of Hart and JR. They have to play D on 1.5 players -- and get the blame if it don't work out. LBJ is smiling right now. |

A lot of it was Thomas’ lack of size allowing guys to get past him and dump the ball off inside.
I am a fair guy. Thomas lit it up on offense, but he is a huge defensive liability.
Damn near every time the Mavs had the ball while Thomas was in the game they exploited him either by posting him up, isoing him or getting him on a switch. If you disagree you didn’t watch the game.
Yes the team overall was bad defensively tonight, that can change. But the defensive liability that Thomas brings, will likely remain the same. |

He isn’t the savior of the Lakers. We have a hell of a talent in Ingram as well, and Kuzma.
But it all starts at the point guard position. Lonzo has the size and playmaking ability that you don’t always find. |
