Kuzma and Ball aren't playing, I assume, for the same reason you don't see Donovan Mitchell, Markkanen, or Jayson Tatum playing for their teams: the Lakers know their abilities, know what they would do against summer league talent (Ball was MVP last year, what more to do?) and don't need to have them take minutes from other players against not the highest talent. DLO played two years because he needed it: he had a poor rookie season and needed to develop in game action no matter the competition. Fox is playing for the Kings because as a rookie he had one of the worst BPMs and RPMs in the entire league; he was truly awful from an analytics perspective on offense and defense. Hart is playing, and only 2 games total, just to get some game action with his handle and to help "coach" the other players. My point is, the summer league roster, I don't think, indicates one way or another a trade. I'd call it a faulty assumption; i.e. a circular sidestep in a poorly framed Socratic proof. I mean, if Mitchell, Markkanen, and Tatum aren't playing, are they now being traded? |

I'm looking forward to seeing Wagner (assuming he's not traded) |

Thank You. If pictures told the exact story, Hart and Wag look like real players... at least we know Hart already is.
Keep posting your finds. I feel like we used to get more info when Serena was at Lakers Nation. Or maybe with no high profile rookies we hear less during this time about summer practices, etc.... |

FYI:
Quote: | Harrison Faigen: Filling out the Lakers bench along with summer league head coach Miles Simon will be Clay Moser, Coby Karl, Brian Walsh, Will Scott and Jonah Herscu. Scott is a particularly cool story, having worked his way all the way up from the D-Fenders video coordinator. 14 hours ago – via Twitter hmfaigen

Thanks pio2u. I haven't been paying attention so I actually didn't know there was another SPL besides Orlando and Vegas. I also didn't know Orlando SPL was cancelled after last summer until I googled it just now.
This is great. I never really had much interest in the Orlando SPL. Looked very bush league compared to how they've built up Vegas. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Doesn't look like Bonga is on the SL team. |
Can't sign him until July 6 when the deal goes through. |

Can't wait to see the new rooks tomorrow. Lebron signing and everything. I think tomorrow is going to be a good day, where I don't have to use my AK. |

and we had to wait three months because our seasons always ended in mid-April.
Actually, for me the draft lottery and then the draft were the highlights of the off-season only to be followed by a very disappointing free-agency. Last season's SPL was the most uplifting in decades because we actually saw something significant from our rooks. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Didn't Rob Lowe say that there was some kind of deal for Bonga, but he couldn't talk about it until after the moratorium? |

It meant that the trade cannot be finalized until july 6th because it involves sending cash to philly and philly already reached their receivable cash limit from last season. Since the season officially ends july 6th, that's when the trade can be finalized _________________ Kobe |

Its so annoying that its on NBA TV since I can't stream it. It was so much better a few years ago when they just used to stream it online |

Let’s go Mo! _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:
- Draft Zach Edey (or Kel'el Ware)
- Sign Jonas Valanciunas or Nicolas Claxton
- sign and trade DLO to not lose value
- sign a coach that’s not an idiot
Call it an offseason |
