When you started watching the Lakers? 1996
Who is your favorite current player? I haven't developed a pristine liking of any one player (like I have in the past with Shaq, Kobe, Fish, Fox, Pau, Lamar, Horry, Ariza), so I will say Kuzma for now. But that is likely to change as the season(s) progress. |

Started my Laker journey 1975, prior to the Kareem trade.
I like all the players, Kuzma is my favorite. |

I've been a fan since I was born (my older brother is a hardcore fan since the Showtime era, so I really never had a choice), but my first memories are from 93-94.
I'd say Brandon Ingram, but I like all our youngsters. |

1984 - Several reasons...I began playing buddy league basketball and I lived in WV; which meant I usually only got a couple NBA games a week on national television and at least one was usually the Lakers, and Jerry West played for the Lakers.

1979 after drafting Magic
Hart
Magic alltime fav athelete, then Kobe then Kareem. Hart is current fav with best progress, could change to Ingram or Kuuz or Ball, depending on which one steps up to expectations (Ingram trending up but not there yet as I haven’t forgotten the 1forXman role lol!).
If Bron wins us a Ship he’d have a chance, otherwise no chance |

1998. The combo of watching the 98' All Star game with Shaq, Kobe, Nick and Eddie being in awe & Kobe Bryant NBA Courtside being my favorite video game at the time. Fell in love with the purple and gold.

2001 - I was starting to coach field hockey so wanted to get some general coaching tips by observing Phil Jackson. Then I saw Kobe interviewed and thought he sounded just like Jordan (before I ever saw him play) and have been a Lakers fan ever since.
Love all our young core. Want Zo to overcome the negative of his vocal dad. Want Kuz and Josh to make a mockery of where they were picked in the draft. Particularly want those 3 and BI to stay and grow together. If you need just one for the census though I'll go Zo just because I like the change he brings to the style of play. |

Just four questions:
Gender? F
Age? 36
When you started watching the Lakers?
2003/04 - I grew up watching classic 90s NBA w/ my aunts... of course we worshipped the bulls on the east coast.. so that gave me familiarity and respect for P.Jax...oddly enough high school- college i never watched the NBA but when a couple of players from my college got drafted it re-ignited me as a fan. My sister was abt the only one from the family i''d watch ball with she loved Kobe Sexy Rich Fox anyway i joined in quietly...and been all in on purple & gold ever since.
Who is your favorite current player?
Lakers wise - Lonzo I love pure points
NBA- Shaun Livingston - crazy right but his injuries to GSW is such heart warming story; talent wise ill take KD35 as DC area talent goes he's our #1 |

Favorite player is B (the next Laker for life?) and the rest of the young core...Kuz/Hart/Zo |

1986, when as a member of my high school legislature, went to see the Lakers play at the Forum. I was shocked at the size and speed that the old Cathode Ray Tube televisions failed to convey.

Came from the hospital in a Lakers’ onesie. Been a hardcore fan ever since.
Ingram is my favorite but have high hopes for Ball to become my co-favorite if he can play to his potential.
Go Lakers! |

I started watching the Lakers since day one, my dad was a huge Lakers fan and I grew up in LA. Earliest memory is losing to Chicago in the finals.
My favorite current player is probably Zo, but I'm not that attached to any of them. |
