There was ZERO need for this press conference. Listen to him. He is all defense, more spin, and extremely dismissive of questions. He even tried and failed to try a "soft" angle 
This is nothing but a rally for his base to let them think nothing was lost.
This makes me feel better about last night's win. Dont get fooled into thinking we didnt make any gains. Dont buy the spin. |

Agreed. Be level headed and measured. Investigate without making a fuss unless there is new and damaging information. There should be no talk of impeachment unless or until there is a solid case to move forward. Besides, we just go from an arsehole lyin' Republican to a bible-thumping lyin' one. The common ingredient, the Republican part, the worst part, doesn't change.
Also, there is no need to talk of raising taxes, or aggressive gun legislation, or anything there is no hope to achieve having only the House. Work towards improving health care, rebuilding our infrastructure, helping the DACA's, and/or presenting solid, popular measures.
There is little need to tell the world that Trump is among the lowest human beings on the planet, or react to all of his childishness, so talk of what Democrats want that is realistic and talk of which of his policies are bad and why.
Oh, and let's allow Nancy to get it going--as she knows what she's doing--with the understanding that it will only be temporary--no more than a year.

There are two separate branches of Congress.
Pelosi is likely to be speaker of the House as it will be a democrat controlled house.
McConnell remains the majority leader of the Senate, as it will remain controlled by republicans.
There will be more investigations, but those will be conducted by the House Intelligence Committee, which is completely different than the Senate Intelligence Committee. |

| It will be whoever is appointed to head of the House Intelligence Committee. Basically, the suggestion to do so can come from anywhere in the House and proceed with Pelosi's approval. |

I'm curious as to why Pelosi is so hated by Democrats. If anything she has pretty much towed the line. I get the need for fresh blood but it seems she is reviled.
