Seems like topics keep getting locked for no other reason than they don't shine highly on Kobe. If someone has a negative comment about Kobe it's automatically wrong. However, there can be five+ topics about how terrible Kwame is and it's alright.
The only topic I've seen so far tonight was the one that suggested amputating Kwame's hands. I think it's kinda obvious why that was locked. _________________ [Insert ignorant or naive statement from poster here.]

Yes, Kobe can't be criticized here.

Any post game topics that criticize Kobe's performance seem to get locked.
Because they usually turn into a bash thread. That is why.
Unlike all the other intelligent discussions that take place with every other Laker who is fair game for criticism. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

Personal attacks are not allowed and that is why the thread was locked.
"You are a joke of Laker fans. I bring a completely objective and very accurate argument about Kobe's performance and you have to be a little 8th grader and insult me. Only little boys do that cause men dont say such stupid things. Men provide smart counterpoints and if they insulft they do it in your face, not under the blanket of the internet," certainly has a few personal attacks, no?
The thread was doomed to be locked as the title was a flame.
I'm moving this to "User Feedback" since that's what it is.
Kobe had a horrible game and he proved his haters right tonight
58 points aside "proved his haters" is surely going to bait his defenders, don't you think?
So, those are the rules. Personally attack someone on your thread and it will be locked. pm me if you want the long version.

One of the reasons topics are locked if they have no other purpose than to rile people up.
Not because they don't "shine highly" on Kobe.
We had several inane posts tonight that degenerated into attacks.
If you don't like how we handled it, I suggest you move on.

We have people comming here pissing their pants because of one loss.
People say Kobe is lousy when he scores 58 points.
We have people who want to chop off Kwame's hands even though the team only scored 2 points in the third ot.
We have a lot of sick overacting people here on all sides.
My good looks. And the Kobe thread I posted in tonight did get locked.
Lets not forget the little jab on Kobe by Letterman. you love when Kobe gets bashed among the media members or opposing fans. you're not very bright venturalakersfan i was a big fan of you when Shaq was here because you were more intelligent but ever since your lover left you have been disappointing. _________________ ~~~ "If I read a Utah paper that says Kirilenko stopped me, the next time I see him I'm going right at him," said Bryant ~~~
I didn't mean any disrespect. I simply wanted to know. No reason to get all worked up, Popcorn machine.
It's not just today, or after ONE loss. I've read a few different topics about how Kobe isn't playing well or how he should pass the ball more -- all get locked. I just took a look at the first page and read five different Kwame topics that are not locked that obviously have spawned due to his miscues from tonights game (one is a quotes thread; but it talks about how Kwame has butter fingers).
Also, If I didn't like how things were ran around here I would have left long ago. As I said, I was just asking a question.
