I really can't feasibly see us winning this one. The 76ers are just so (bleep) stacked its crazy. However we tend to show up against these sorts of teams and if you've got LeBron you can never be counted out. Bron goes into drive and dish mode and Bullock (I've no faith in Muscala as a shooter) proves to be the 3pt threat we hope he is and who knows?
However, I'm sorry to inform you, this is a game at a watchable live time for me over here in the UK and we almost always lose games that I watch live, with the exception of games against the Warriors, the last 3 Warriors games I've watched live we have won.
But nah, I'd be happy if we kept it close. If we win then thats gonna be a huge boost cause we SHOULD beat ATL mid week and then we're going into the ASB on a high. |

Preview: Lakers (28-27) at 76ers (35-20)
Lakers +7 o/u 234

The Sixers are coming off a 117-110 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday, their first game since making a blockbuster trade with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The biggest piece coming to the Sixers was forward Tobias Harris, who had 14 points.
JJ Redick led the way with 34 points while Jimmy Butler added 22 and Joel Embiid earned his 45th double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Harris' performance in his first game with Philadelphia was especially pleasing to Sixers head coach Brett Brown.
"His personality and his intellect, his basketball intellect stands out," Brown said. "I thought he had some tough defensive plays and down the stretch he had a physicality that might not look from his body ... but gosh, he had some tough plays."
With so many new players trying to mesh with the Sixers, it was unclear how the Sixers would respond.
They seemed to be just fine.
Butler hit all 14 of his free throw attempts and relished the experience of playing with the revamped roster.
"They're always looking to put me in a position to be successful," Butler said. "I think that's the most comfortable thing, knowing that you're going to get the ball in spots that you like to have the ball in. Then, you can go and talk to your teammates, like, 'Hey I'm here, I see this, I see that.' Whenever you're all on the same page on the court, it doesn't matter how many days you've been out there. When you put five guys that can play basketball the right way, the game's really simple."

I predict Lebron will keep it close, but BI and other guys will have to step up to get the W.
It's worth noting some of BI's best performances have been against the Sixers. Hope he continues that trend. |

A must win if you want to get into the playoffs. Hope there's no load management. _________________

Oh boy, Lebron is listed as "probable - load management" same as last week and the twitter comments are predictably toxic as (bleep)
I suspect this means they'll just keep a close eye on him and his minutes, and if they suspect he needs a break ... he may or may not take one depending on his mood.

I'd like to see how load management would work with AD and no bench.
(hint: it wouldn't) |

Philadelphia just picked up a bunch of players, I expect they're going to be amped for today's game. They're a stronger team now than they were a week ago IMO.
We're coming off a huge, emotional win. Today's game will be a gut check once again.
Win or lose I'm curious to see how Bullock fits in with this team. I'm most curious about his defense, hustle, transition game, and off ball movement. I'll be pleasantly surprised if Muscala adds anything of value, we'll see soon. |

A bunch of players flew to Virginia last night to watch the Duke game. I'm not so sure that was such a great idea. I saw Lebron, Rondo and Pope. Did other players go too? I wonder if BI went. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |
