Our problem runs deeper than Westbrook, and while he is an easy target, we have other issues. Mainly roster construction.
Well when you ship out of some of your best shooters/wing defenders for a 44 million dollar guy that's mostly here to give Lebron some possessions off...

Going small with AD 5 is one thing, but asking a small forward to play 4 is another, especially melo is old and not known for his defense.

It’s so weird to me that Anthony Davis was once considered superior to Giannis. Not even remotely comparable impact wise. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

On one hand, I'm encouraged because we played real well in the 3rd quarter, and we competed hard until the end. We lost to a better team, the world champs, who were at full strength, while we didn't have our MVP.
On the other hand, our halfcourt offense sucks. Too much passing the ball around the perimeter and standing around. Our halfcourt offense looks more like some crap from the low-scoring 90s than a modern offense.
Our transition game wasn't there either - only 16 fastbreak points. Not nearly enough for this team.
And why didn't coach Vogel ever play Dwight/DJ with AD at the same time? That could've prevented Giannis from getting to the rim at will.
Oh well, I guess we can't really judge this team until we're almost at full strength, just like how we can't judge the Bucks until they're at full strength.

Lakers story of the season so far is they do ok in one area but are a disaster in another. They can’t be average or moderately bad in areas, no they have to take it to the extreme every time. Monk, Ellington and Anthony combined 4-24 from 3. We can’t have just one guy have a horrific night from three we gotta have 3 plus Baze with a 0.
Westbrook/THT combo looks promising... Add Lebron to the mix which means Melo goes back to his natural positon off the bench. I also think they to stop playing AD at the 5. I think he has more of advantage playing the 4 right now.
