Quote: | Brandon Ingram listed as probable for today’s game against the Lakers. On track to play after missing 10 straight. New Orleans went 4-6 in that stretch. |
Let’s see if LeKnee quits either before (doesn’t play) or after tonight (if they lose). |

Sure wish we didn't get clowned in the previous matchup. Pretty much played 24 minutes of garbage time.
Maybe the playoff atmosphere of this game will inspire more confidence. |

Lebron has his scoring title. I wouldn't be surprised if he sat out the remaining games just to keep it. |

CJ now being listed as questionable. Sadly, we need every advantage we can get. |

Frank Vogel says the team will have another practice tomorrow, but it will be non-contact. AD is not cleared to participate yet. Kendrick Nunn has not done anything, and THT and LeBron were off their feet today and are day-to-day.

While Ingram is likely to return, the Pelicans could be without two other key players. CJ McCollum (left ankle sprain) and Jonas Valanciunas (right foot soreness) were listed as questionable after both played Saturday against the Spurs. McCollum had 32 points in 35 minutes while Valanciunas had 18 points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes.

I'm tempted to get on the trade AD bus. My reason for not boarding is I think he's injury voo doo-ed. Most of his injuries are freak accidents. Coming down on a player's foot, getting poked in the eye, jamming his finger on the ball, turning an ankle. etc.
The reason for the temptation is his injury history. His games played per year are in the 60's. He's only played 75 games twice. LINK _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

How many times have we been heart broken this season? I want us to make a run with AD coming back but a simple dose of reality check with this team when they get eliminated is probably what we need and unfortunately that’s probably how this season is gonna end |

I was excited when we got Nunn in FA but I think both parties need to move on this summer, he could have given us a boost but keeps running through delays every single time, I prefer someone like Collin Sexton over his bone bruise ass any ways lol |

He's always on the injured list even if he does play.. He's far from just "having bad luck" at this point. I think like many have pointed out the last few years is that his conditioning seems to def. not be elite. You got guys like say Kobe or Bron and they work intensely on not only maintaining great shape but also injury prevention. I remember an article about Kobe years ago about how he spent a huge amount of time on this while most players didn't because it was a very "un-sexy" kind of preparation as you worked extremely hard and consistently at it but it was never really something anyone truly noticed like they would if you shed weight, added muscles or even added something new to your on-court game and all these things would be talked about and appreciated. I couldn't tell you how many times I have seen both Kobe and Bron roll an ankle or fall awkwardly and expected it to be bad but they just shook it off (before they got older obviously) and continued to play. That wasn't "luck", that was because of countless hours of injury prevention training they did behind the scenes.
AD is obviously a big and swarms all around the court on both ends so his risk for being put in positions to get injured is higher then most but I truthfully have no real confidence he can go even a month or two in the regular season at this point and not get multiple nagging injuries if not a serious one.
Saying all that, i'm against trading him as well because I highly doubt we get anywhere remotely close to fair value for him but if we were to get some amazing offer I wouldn't be mad at all because I don't see it getting better as he's nearing the back end of his prime.
He's still obviously insanely talented but there's plenty of clear evidence at this point for valid concern going forward. |
