I guess we don't need a draft, if we are going to continue to rent players from the Senior Rec. League. Preferably old and busted players who can't shoot jumpers or guard NBA level players. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions!

we knew after the bubble exposed that we are incapable of winning without a huge amount of rest, the FO realized these remaining bron years are only about personal milestones. Thats why jeanie made it a point to say she wants there to be a celebration when he passes KAJ.
Bron preceded that with saying the year wasn't a failure. 2 more years and then picks will matter.

Heat found a boatload of undrafted gems. Lakers just gotta copy what they are doing.
Not sure if the Pels draft a surefire star with the 8 pick but you never know. To be honest, I've not done my work on them the way other folks have (Mike@LG, etc), so I'm coming from a limited perspective. I think if Shaedon Sharp falls to that spot, Pels gotta gamble and take him. The mocks have them drafting Bennedict Mathurin, who is good athlete but those are a dime a dozen in the NBA.

And keep depending on the most die hard fans (formerly me) to keep buying tickets.

What Miami is doing, LAL can't replicate unless they bring that whole staff over including the front office.
Riley has that team culture set. Jeanie, doesn't. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

They let go of Treveilin Queen who was GLeague player of the year and didn't offer him a contract.
Austin Reaves, proven.
Joel Ayayi, also worth a shot for UDFA.
McClung GLeague Rookie of the Year.
Wenyen Gabriel, solid rotation player.
Stanley Johnson, rotation player.
The full assumption that proven, aged vets can solidify a playoff team is a terrible one, but it's not like the Lakers don't look at young players as well. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
I really don't have a problem with family taking care of family as long as said family can do the job well. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!!
"L.A. has been open about using its remaining cash stash (the Lakers can put $4.7 million into a trade between now and July 1) to buy its way into the second round, where the Lakers currently do not have a pick." (via @johnhollinger)
I know J.H. is crap. But he's stating the obvious. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!!
