Honestly I would rest Ad tomorrow and play him against OKC, please don’t tell me we have a good shot of winning at mem without dlo and lebron, and if we don’t, I’d rather have a fresh ad |

Yup said it on the Injury Thread... They should sit AD out tomorrow too. Focus more on much winnable games. Also because it's the 1st of the b2b games.
Winning/Losing tomorrow only .5-1 game swing at least. Beating OKC and Minny is pretty much a 2 game swing. |

With a b2b rest AD in this one for the 2nd game. Blast ahead in that one and try to limit his minutes. Don't push it with these guys. History repeats. |

However, knowing Ham, he will probably start Troy Brown Jr instead and make Vanderbilt guard PFs, which will make Vanderbilt look bad again and cause rotation hell. |

Yeah this isn't going to be easy without Bron and DLO; but at least we have some balance on the roster to fill in with these days.
I also hope Vandy is guarding 3's and scoring guards, not PF's because of small ball lineups. I'd really like to see Rui, Troy, Bamba step up in concert with Davis.
Here's hoping Beasley goes Beastly from 3 this time out. |

Yep. Then need to stop by Tater Red's Lucky Mojo not far from the arena, pick up a voodoo doll and smack LBJ upside the head one time. |

Grizzs without Adams doesn't have much length. Hopefully AD can feast on Clarke and be a force on D since Clarke doesn't score much
Grizzs have been at .500 for the last 10 games, though they are 25-5 at home. Without Adams, they have lost a lot of bulk and length
Grizzs

Bane
Brooks
Jackson Jr.
Clarke

We pulled the miracle off in Dallas, so I am hoping for another one in this game.
Hide AD's ankles from Brooks. Dude be out there hunting for people to injure. |

I wonder if we start Troy or Hashimura for LeBron? Troy spreads to floor a little better, but Hashimura has size and better overall offensive skills. My guess is we start Troy. Our bench will need Hashimura for size and offense. |

The LeBron era is coming to a close. Great time to see how the Roster improvements pan out. Memphis is 36-23 a win tonight would be a great confidence booster. GO LAKERS !!! _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

2 things need to happen for the Lakers to be the Lakers again:
1. Jeanie needs to sell
2. New owner(s) take full control back of team. No more Klutch Angeles where if Klutch is injured the Lakers perform like one of the worst teams in the league.
It should be clear by now that heavily catering to LeKlutch, Uncle Dennis or 35 Ventures is detrimental to team success. |

When you say that Jeanie has to sell you really mean that 4 is f the 6 Buss kids have to want to sell. I doubt that you could get 4 of 6 to agree to a tee time, let alone to sell. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I'm not with the Klutch connection. Jeanie seems to be changing course. I don't who's responsible for the latest roster changes but the changes changed the course of the season. Maybe Rob has been given the reins and he's better at his job than some think. IMO the lakers have to look to the teams' roster minus Bron. The Kobe dependence should have been a lesson. Deja vu seems apropos. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I think you could assess it as the two eldest want to sell, the two youngest don't want to sell, Janie is on record as saying that she rides with Jeanie (though she has also pointed out that without selling, her kids receive far less inheritance). So the swing vote is Jeanie, who would also presumably be the one involved in the negotiation.
So it really comes down to Jeanie, with the other siblings being complicating factors with very clear incentives (not really credible holdout risks). _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

remember the game after trade deadline ? no lebron, no DLO, no Vando, no Beasley, and they hang with the bucks for 4 quarters. that should be the blue print. DS will have to be huge and play big minutes simply because we have no other point guards. Austin at PG is just not that effective. |

You never know, maybe Memphis underestimates us today...
At least NO lost yesterday. Today Warriors can beat Portland, Kings can beat Thunder, Clippers can beat the Wolves. But Jazz will beat Spurs for sure. |

Christie should be activated with DLo out. He's our second best defensive guard after Troy to put on players like Ja.
This is the main lineup I'd like to see. It gives us the best chance at gimping the scoring of Memphis' starters with some size while still providing decent scoring:
(PG) Dennis/Austin guards (SG) Bane or (PG) Tyus
(SG) Troy/Christie/Beas guards (PG) Ja or (SG) Kennard
(SF) Vandy/Gabriel guards Brooks, Konchar, or Zaire
(PF) Rui/Gabriel/Vandy guards Clarke, Aldama, or Tillman
(C) AD/Bamba guards Jackson Jr. or Clarke
Gabriel is our only real forward off the bench. Our lack of depth there is glaring with Lebron out. =/ |
