I think most of it is GS isn’t this particularly lengthy, athletic defensive team. They tend to beat with their hot shooting and your inefficiency.
However there is something to GS struggles at staples/crypto. Even when the Lakers were tanking they would give GS problems. Talking Steph/Klay era here. |
Somewhat Positive post by LakersSD???!
Twilight zone stuff 😂🤣😂🤣😂 |
Well I can’t control selective reading, but my posts are in the database if you want to see my positivity
I don’t sugarcoat and the past 2 seasons specifically is not up to Laker standards tbh. |
LakerSD you know what he meant. You know when something good happens you still come running in and make some little sarcastic negative "joke", no selective reading necessary. Come on now |
Wait, really?
What I remember is I post positive potion in the player threads. I also remember calling some good wins in GDTs. I do make little sarcastic jokes when we barely escape the Rockets or Spurs
Ps- I wasn’t going for any backhanded complimenting in my post btw. We seem to do well against GS who are the upper echelon of the league but then we continuously struggle with that clumsy Gobert and clunky wolves! |
You're a nutter is what I'm saying. A nutty nut. (Like all of us here. Lol) |

The Clippers are favored for 7 points but I am hoping they go on a 10 in row losing streak |

Sure Kobe's a better defender but Steph is so far beyond everyone in offensive efficiency you have to take that into account.
Even the defensive rebounds are the same.
All I'm saying is both are great players... pointless to diss Steph. |

If the clippers are 0-5 with Russ, it’s big time evidence that he’s a big problem on the court. They have more shooters than us and have 2 top end wings.
Russ has always been Russ, but with declined athleticism and modern nba game he’s basically a detriment to any team success. Imo it’s been proven that it doesn’t matter what team/roster he’s on. |

Great defense on him tonight.

Look at his playoff statistics where it's a more fair comparison because Kobe's stats were dragged down by his post Achilles numbers.
Against playoff competition... Steph's numbers are higher in almost every category.
If you think Kobe is better, that is your right... but to say they aren't in the same stratosphere is empirically untrue. |

Yep, me too! Wire to wire victory…there was a point late in the 4th when I was sure we would lose the lead but the defense came up big! _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. Maybe that was the case 5 years ago when he still had elite athleticism. At this stage, you only want him to lead your team if you're tanking |

Again Steph is 1 dimensional - let me know when Steph is known to lockdown the teams best wing or guard. |
