I've given Darvin his fair share of flack this season, but his (smart) strategy of funneling as many shots to Dillon Brooks worked beautifully. I had a feeling his early makes from 3 would haunt the Grizz. |

No need for me and anyone else to shame any LG members who defended Russ blindly , but DAMN it's night and day.
This team has this really unselfish ,hard nosed defensive attitude we did not have ever since we traded for RW. Just a new found energy of playing for each other and really high IQ basketball (minus Lonnie )
An as much as I like Pat Bev and the way he would contribute when he could , he was a problem as well.
No secret Russ and Pat bullied Darvin and the Coaching Staff with really low IQ basketball. Low IQ Rotations.
Soo Thankful we don't gotta see Russ' low percentage bank shot and really thankful we don't gotta watch Pat force Darvin to let him guard Paul George, Brandon Ingram, and Kevin Durant anymore. |

Naa once we’re healthy Beasley’s best fit is starting next to AD and 2 play makers in Dlo and Lebron.
If he comes off the bench he’ll be playing with guys that can’t find him and he’d be put in scenarios where he’ll have to create off the dribble which he is not good at. |

I believe he will play DS and AR off the bench, they play well together. Dlo is a better creator and is familiar with Beasley | I was just wondering with Bron out if he sticks with Dennis as a starter and Reaves in the Russ role. Beasley in place of waters gives them a wing sized bench guy, spacing, and all so it was just a thought of what I can guess Ham will do without Lebron

DLO will start and Dennis off the bench to steal 6th Man of the Year award from Westbrook 😈
Nah just playing on the 6moty robbery, but Dennis off the bench should be amazing to power up that 2nd string |

Do you know now that I’m thinking about it you’re right, that is the best rotation. It just improves our depth. Remember the days whenever our back ups use the score more than our starters? |

Hoping we can get to 6th spot. Face grizzlies in the 1st round and face the kings in the 2nd round. Going 7-3 the next 10 games should be enough to get that 6th spot. _________________

past two games he's made some key adjustments to funnel in these wins.
Definitely deserves some credit.
Still he needs to limit Lonnie's minutes. His game is just too selfish and bad decision making even when he is hitting his shots. Defense is non existent to no surprise. His amazing play was highlighted earlier this year only because Westbrook and Pat Bev was soo bad.
Same for Beasley if he's struggling. More Vando and More Austin there young they can play 40+ and be okay LOL |

Beasley is having to do that anyways with the current starting unit, anyways. He's constantly running off of picks/screens to get him open, but it's not working. He's either taking quick contested 3pt shots, because his defender is sticking to him. Or, he's putting it on the floor, and taking it to the basket for floaters, or jump shots around the free throw line. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Beasley will be better once Lebron and DLo comes back... Those guys are better with him on the court with them... All about gravity.
He is struggling right now but law of averages says he will find his shot again. |

And AD made JJJ look miserable today, if not for the points he got while AD was in locker room, he would’ve had a very bad game |

AD made JJJ and X Till look like little children the way he dominated the boards tonight with 22 rebounds! |

Ya exactly. That’s why he’s looked bad.
Fully healthy we shouldn’t move him to the bench so he goes through the same thing. |

See if Beasley is making shots and limit him otherwise. Def no lonnie minutes. More rest for AR/TBJ/Dennis. If other team doesn't have a big ball handling wing ala luka/ingram/kawhi, TBJ gives more at the 3 than Vando.
Reaves/Dennis/TBJ all played more than 30 minutes, cut those down to 28-30 already gives you 11-16 mins for DLO. Another 16 from Lonnie and you're good min distribution wise. Finding the best lineups might be a challenge, but its going to be great having another ball handler in there.
A lot of nice versatility to match up. |

Since Russ joined the clippers:
*Lakers 7-3 (moved from 13th to 9th in West)
*clippers 1-5 (moved from 4th to 8th in West)

I wish Beasley drove to the basket a little bit more. Right now it’s 3s or nothing… might also help him find a rhythm. He has the game to score in the mid range or at the basket.. so I wish he would utilize that a bit more. |

Lonnie has seen the handwriting on the wall and is out for himself. Knows that Lakers are not going to offer another contract and is trying to pump up his numbers before free agency. _________________ Darvin Ham is an idiot! |

I agree he'll be most effective as a starter. Even if he's not making shots he's still spacing the floor making teams account for him. If the Lakers need a different look after they got several. Beasley in the starters means he's always part of the other teams game plan.
I'm more interested in swapping TBJ and Vando in the starting groups depending on match ups. If Lakers dont need a big wing stopper I like what TBJ is giving on offense way more.
Can't wait to have 2+ ball handlers on the floor at all times. |

He will rain threes once Lebron gets back. I wouldn’t worry about him, teams still face guard him cause they know he can get hot. |
