Is there room for any conversation about whether or not the Lakers, as a unit, play freer, more relaxed, and more confident without Lebron? It seems no one wants to at least discuss it. |

Screw this 4th quarter comeback crap.
Ham is terrible.
Rui should have played.
Ham is an idiot. |
No Rui shouldn’t have played he’s inconsistent as hell, Washington choose Kuzma over him even though Kuzma doesn’t shoot all that well |
Nah man, Rui would have helped with size. We were relying on twig Gabriel and foul trouble Davis out there. |

Coach is a bum joke |
Beasley at 28 minutes is far more damaging than anything else.
Especially when he is shooting 6-14 from three.
Every brick he shot was backbreaking in every damn comeback attempt
Replace those chucks with a couple drive to the baskets and free throws who knows what happens |
The vando minutes are even worse, just saying… 6/14 is a number we can live with. He is just too streaky |
Streaky and never makes them when you need them. |
Kind of the lakers as a whole in a nutshell |
Austin and Dennis have their moments of being able to make shots when the momentum is against the Lakers...Austin did that again today in the first quarter. Beasley....whenever the momentum is in the balance or against the Lakers, the guy is an automatic brick. I thought he would be a stoic calm cool sniper. Instead he is a mentally weak choker |
Never said he had a good game, but like it or not, he should be playing and taking shots. I believe he will be better with full squad. Our offense just sucks without spacing. |

No they really don’t. And I half blame that on coach more than Bron.
You don’t say he won’t play. He’s questionable to play. Hey let’s shoot around . Oh he looks good so I’ll bring him off the bench.
Then say if Bron is off the bench Gabriel can’t play next to AD anymore when they’ve built positive play together. Then go Rui can’t play today because Bron is his size basically. Then say let me play Lonnie with this second unit.
Then to start the next half go oh well Bron you go start now. And oh well I didn’t play Rui one half so I can’t play him the next. And I really want to use Bron as my backup big too so AD can’t play with Gabriel and have any support defending the rim. But you know why I’ll do for AD, I’ll give him Troy at 4 and Lonnie at 3 and wonder why he’s in foul trouble. Then top it off with saying Denis will start the fourth on the bench when Denis has started the fourth quarter of every game since he break and the last game that got you to 500 he basically was the offense and decider.
Ham out think and out tinkered himself off there nonsensically
If they just use what they use rotation wise versus OKC and the run a practice session and announce on their off day Bron returns in Chicago with a set lineup they are better off. |

In those 4 games where he was living at the free throw line, he was the primary ball handler most of the time. Today, whenever Reaves had a chance to drive into traffic, he slowed down and kicked it back out to the perimeter. He wasn’t giving them a chance to give him calls. |

If You’re taking about Austin and Dennis getting more buckets without Lebron you must’ve forgot DLO was out of action in those games as well. |

He also got 5 turnovers. He didn't have a very good game today, the defensive effectiveness wasn't there. Tough matchups for him today with either Lavine or Derozan as his man. I think Reaves works better with DLo than Schroder |

That’s the thing to do even before playing them.
The tape shows LaVine is the guy you have to pester. DDR is more iso/stationary.
If Ham/coaching staff can’t see this without even playing the Bulls they are (bleep) dumbasses. You put Vanderbilt on LaVine 100/100 and let others defend DeMar isos. |

Lakers have to put together more consistent offense, they can't have these long droughts. They have to be able to effect the game defensively, too. Too many guys were getting blown by with little resistance. |
Chip on his shoulder.
The Bulls didn't offer him an extension. Not even a veteran minimum deal.
That's how we were able to grab him this past offseason.
Honestly don't know if will be able to bring him back.
I would love if Jeanie and Rob let Malik go elsewhere and give all his money to Troy, Rui, and Wenyen this upcoming summer

I’m on of those people. We play too much Isoball with Bron back. We play better without him and him coming back takes the ball out of our other guys hands. We need to get rid of bron in the offseason. He was responsible for those open guys at the basket. He isn’t even trying ! |

Got beat up today physically by a couple of Mack trucks in Vucevic (before he got tossed) and Andre DUMBmond.
Darvin gonna put in Troy Brown at power forward to help AD though LOL |

The Lakers just can't get it together long enough for me to get fully confident in them. The Lakers will regularly have a head-scratching loss on a given stretch of games. The Lakers just aren't be a good team when they can't win these kind of games. It wasn't that long ago that they lost to the Rockets.
You can make the playoffs by mostly dominating bad teams, and having mediocre or even bad records against the good teams.
The Clippers have a 12-25 record against teams over .500, and they're currently in a better position than the Lakers because their 27-11 against under .500 teams compared to the Lakers' 19-13. |

This game sorta had all the pre game indicators of an incoming L:
1. Sunday afternoon game? check
2. Opponent has several former Lakers / or wanted to be a Laker? check.
While for #2 none of that category went off, they pretty much all had a solid game - even Bev had a solid game on offense, which was a rarity as a Laker. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. This is what the NBA has become - 3pt chuck fest, whoever shoots better wins. At least in the regular season. |
