I was so upset at that sequence. No focus at all. We were sleep walking and we were still in the game the whole way.
We'll get them next game. |

The Lakers have 2 days off to rest. That's going to help those with nicks and bruises. If they can't get up for the next 2 we're done. The importance of a coach's influence is on display. Ham's gotta give a "Win one for the Gipper" speech. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It’s one game
We have stolen Home Court advantage from them
Some of these series may actually go seven games
Are people gonna lose their (bleep) if we don’t win every game |
co-sign. Not many series end in sweeps. A couple players had subpar games, it happens. Even some of the Lakers' best title winning squads got embarrassed at times, got beat up worse. First ones that comes to mind were those games in Houston 2009. Those were awful. Playoffs are a grind, first to four. | |
Not one, not two, but THREE cats with reading comprehension issues...
I never said anything about:
*Not stealing home court
*Series not going 7 games
*losing ones sheet
Try and keep up, fellas...You all seem like capable, smart guys. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

That could be interpreted as you thinking they won't advance if Ja is able to play. For clarification please elaborate. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Relax, be happy with what they were able to achieve. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0 |

We only made three fewer field goals, both sides picked up 50 in the paint, 47-49 rebounds, 10-12 t/os. Despite turning out a ten point deficit, the performance doesn't look too awful. Davis and Russell should have made up for those, don't know if ADs arm is still tender, but no time for panic stations.
I still want to see some sign of bamba as we will need more size, but we need to not settle for bad shots and need Russ and AD to get in more consistent form. |
Points off of turnovers! The Grizz had 20, the Lakers had 9. That and 3 point shooting were the notable differences. |
Ah, nice one. I'm looking at it based on highlights and the box as not seeking out a full replay and it was a bit too late for me. Good to know.
I guess the main point is, if we correct the intensity and shoot at an average level we'll win. A lot of the coverage has been ridiculously alarmist (but that's what they do), but it was hardly a disaster.
I do wonder if Davis was still feeling some pain though, Bayless made the point that he'd say Grizzlies would be more likely to lose if they let a half-fit Morant play. Maybe there was an element of that in the performance. _________________ "I got Wheaties!" |
