Lebron and Austin switching up as primary playmakers…
I like it! |

Obviously they had some lucky shots went in and refs in their pocket.
Good effort after the half |
Some really big and timely shots too. They did what lakers did to warriors to stop runs
One big difference this game - i cant recall lakers getting a stop on a nug ATO play whereas they did that in spurts vs griz and dubs _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

Rob knew that we would need another big for a series like this and rolled the dice on Bamba, which in theory would have worked nicely and he showed some flashes - but with his leg/ankle issue we are sort of f%cked.
The refs can dictate the outcomes by how they ref AD pretty much. He gets in any foul trouble its game over. |
Bamba has no chance against Jokic anyways. if you go back to the bubble, Lebron and Kieff was the guy that got rotated to the Joker a lot and they held their own. i think Ham would go with Lebron and Rui to guard Jokic a lot if he is at the perimeter and have AD be the help man. |
I overestimated Ham, lol |

To only lose by 6 after that entire debacle?
Win G2 and mission accomplished…but gotta pull off game 2 or else it won’t be looking good. |

I’m telling you man, the Nuggets tried to choke this way at the end. Their lack of playoff experience is showing. |

Is this a series where DLO comes off the bench? I think we need Rui and DS starting. _________________ Previously LBJ23 |

MJST wrote: | What I took from this game is that the three guard lineup of DLO, Reaves, Schroeder will work on Golden State in that situation after we made several adjustments. BUT it won't work on Denver.
We should have went out with the DLO, Reaves, Vanderbilt, LeBron, Davis lineup to start the game, like we'd been doing prior. It was that and going against their size with our own that gave us a 2nd half so good if we'd had it in the first half we'd have won this game. |
Completely agree. Baffled why a “hey we beat gs with this” reasoning waa used…gs a completely different team. Nugs just chewed up that 3 guard lineup like nothing. What was worse is he went with it again to start second half after being outrebounded 36-13.
Beginning of 3rd lakers scored but couldnt stop squat and watched lead balloon to 20.
Team only started making it a game by having d when they elected a 1 or 2 guard lineup and go bigger elsewhere. Also having rui or another on jokic alowed AD to roam _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. I was honestly surprised at how well Rui Hachimura did against the joker. I think they found something there. |

I would have liked a blowout loss than this 40+ mins LBJ/AD loss. If LBJ is gassed after 3 day rest, Imagine him playing every other day from now on |

glad Ham benched Dlo. Too many poor decisions and shot selections and a liability on D. That plus giving up too many offensive boards was the difference in the game. |

Someone posted our wins post trade. This is clearly the best team we have faced. Their size and physicality is new.
Great we only lost by 6 I guess, but they had a hand in that too. Our guys are going to have to help AD on defense because he can’t leave joker. Every time a smaller guy was on him he found guys. _________________ Kobe.

We're good.
If the team defends at an elite level and rebounds the ball; we got this! |

In part its cuz jokic is slow…quick…but slow. I wonder if nugs will find a counter _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

The sad part is making threats on the keyboard! Can’t you see that? Then doubling down on it by calling someone else. It was a lay up, couldn’t resist.
My bad…can we laugh at it together? _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. I didn’t see that this off season.”

Exactly -- they haven't solved us from scoring as well but we found a defense correction in the 2nd half |
