Joker and Jamal are the real deal. Those end of clock step back shots Joker hits to save possessions and that last drive to the basket were, well, amazing.
Better team won.
BTW, we lost to this team by 6, 5, 11, and 2 points. We were in every game with a substantially reworked roster after the trade deadline. I am excited for next year with a full training camp and most of the roster back.

They kicked our butts. They were the better team. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Murray doesn't get enough credit for the kind of player he is. If he were healthy the past couple seasons they might already have a championship
Yeah, they were a WCF team three years ago in 2020, and the #2 seed the season before. Feels weird that they’ve had such a long window as a contender and are only now making the finals. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
It's probably their year, they were hitting insane shots and made all the crucial runs to win games when it counts like championship teams in the past usually do.

The Nuggets are a great team. They're probably going to win the world championship. If they do, they deserve it.
I actually like the team they have. It's not an all-time great roster, but they're young enough where they will contend for a while. There's no shame in losing to them.
Kudos to coach Malone, all their players and their front office. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers

Was hoping we wouldn't get swept, but I was pretty sure the Nuggets would take the series. They're just too good. I'll be cheering for them in the finals.
On the bright side, no Clips, no Dubs, no Suns, and (hopefully) no Celtics. _________________ Not a legend

Joker's been unreal. How on earth did Embiid get MVP

There’s nothing wrong with having respect for an opponent, especially whenever they’re as good as the Nuggets probably going to be this year’s champions
Hate affects your judgment What we need to do is figure out how they kept beating us by single digits in all of these games.
This is an a situation where the Miami Heat are blowing out the Boston Celtics every game we’re losing by single digits

In hindsight, the narrative that Jokic doesn't play defense seems a little silly. He's not an elite defender by any means, but he works hard on defense. Embiid is a better and more impactful defender, but Jokic is a unicorn on the offensive end. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved
As much as I like Jokic, Murray was the key. His scoring in game 2 and the Lakers inability to get it done offensively sealed the deal. Such a pivotal game. Lakers had it in the bag, but Murray literally turned into Curry. 32/6/5/3 on 53/40/95 splits this series. Has to be up there in terms of the top and most efficient playoff performances. 28/6/5 on 48/40/92 splits in 15 playoff games this season. Just shows up every year his team is in the playoffs and gets it done. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.
Starting anew. I'm retiring my main.
If Ham doesn't make that stupid tactical mistake to begin the series and DLo doesn't go in his shell, Lakers win this series easily. _________________ We love NIL (New & Improved Lakers!)

We do need an upgrade from D'Lo.
It's not just that. We got beat at literally every position for the most part. MPJ killed us. KCP killed us. Gordon destroyed us in game 4. Jokic/Murray thoroughly outplayed our star duo of LBJ/AD. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
