Jakob Poeltl has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Lakers due to a sprained ankle, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

I dont know..we're gonna be leaving Trent Jr and IQ wide open for 3 again.
Toronto has been playing inspired ball lately but if our defense shows up we'll be fine. Either way it's gonna be a dogfight.

AD & LBJ should feast tonight but if the supporting cast doesn't step up it could be another bummer.
That being said, we're at home where role players are most comfortable. I expect Reaves & DLO to do their part but someone else needs to step it up too.
And alas, can we depend on Ham to play the best line ups at the correct times.
We are 27th in 3 point shooting. Toronto is 24th. First team to make 10 3's wins!
The sample size might not be that big but I’m pretty sure ever since they got Barrett and Quickley there 3pt shooting has been Improved, and Quickley usually likes to rain 3’s on us

Quickley, Schroder, and Siakam are 3 players who are not to be overlooked. You know Dennis is going to be playing with a chip on his shoulder. I hope that chip weighs heavily and throws his game off. Pascal is 2 handfuls. When he's hot he's hot. Immanuel is a good SG. He's shooting FG 53.3% 3P% 42.9. The Lakers shouldn't take the Raptors lightly. If they don't come prepared to leave it all on the floor they may lose. In games like this coach's input is very important. Ham has to have them ready to play. 👀 I'm watching you Darvin.

Why was Toronto willing to give up Anunoby for Barrett? Is Barrett regarded highly, or is he viewed as a semi-bust? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I don’t think he’s a bust but he hasn’t reached his best version of himself, I think Barrett and Anunoby is basically a lateral move when you talk about exchanging those guys, but getting Quickley was a very nice move by TOR he has a chance to be a star there

Rui Hachimura is expected to miss a 4th straight game, but Darvin Ham said he’s progressing with the calf injury and had some “great days” at the practice facility. It does sound as if he’ll be ready soon.

Barrett’s numbers are WAY better than I thought. I hardly watch the Knicks unless they’re playing the Lakers but I guess he plays better against the other teams.
