Outside of our miraculous run in 2020 to win it all.
We will NEVER win anything again until the Buss family sells the team.
The wish washy lack of direction based on frugality decision making driven by the false narrative of we pay our stars will win us nothing going forward.
Jeanie just tries to ride her father's coattail, I am sorry Jeanie but you will never be like your father.
Dr. Buss knew when to fold'em and when to go all in. He knew when to fold on Kareem and when to go all in on Magic, when to fold on Shaq and when to go all in with Kobe.
LeBron coming here wasn't a genius move on your part, it was a business move for LeBron that lined up with timing for the Lakers.
LeBron is still putting up the numbers and beating father time (as impossible as it may seem) but now is not the time to give the man another 2 yr extension on top of his 2024/25 year for $120M+ ... your dad wouldn't.
If LeBron wants to really win and stay in LA, take a damn pay cut. 2 yrs $40-50M ($20-25M per)
Otherwise, we can facilitate a trade to the Cavs for another Return of the King Chapter or a Final Chapter of His Career in NYC. |

There hasn't been a single instance in any of her public speeches or interviews where she doesn't mention Daddy Dearest. Not once.
The Buss kids make the Roy kids look like geniuses.
Now we got the creepy photographer in Jim Buss running for president.

To be fair how much of this is at Jerry's feet though? He raised them (or maybe didn't raise them). I dislike them and would love for them to sell but they are a product of their upbringing. |

Org is rudderless and clueless. Getting by on the Lebron fumes at this point. Lebron gets them headlines and talking points and at the end of day they’re a mediocre franchise and mediocre team at this point.
Haven’t been remotely interested in watching this product this year because they’ve been out of it since December. Like last nights game. Meaningless they’re going to be the 9th or 10th seed. Congrats.
Hey, but in season champs. _________________ 17 time World Champions |

The current ownership has its problems, but it did well to build the team that (partly) attracted LeBron and AD, then it built the team that won it all in 2020 even though no one thought we would have any chance in 2019 when we missed the playoffs.
LeBron is still playing at a high level. It's realistic he plays at this level next season. Unlike Shaq, who was in serious decline when we traded him, LeBron takes great care of his body and has some real desire to win another ring (I think).
We have to try to get another ring out of him. Given the problems the current regime has, I'm not confident they will attract another all-time great anytime soon. They could very well become the Celtics, Bulls, Raiders or Redskins/Commanders after LeBron leaves. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Vando is a huge absence. Never having got any thing from Gabe compared to Dennis last year is a major loss. Running LeBron, Reddish, Vando, Prince, AD together with D'lo, AR, Rui, Wood, Hayes off the bench is completely moronic and cost 5-10 games.
Better coach + better health = top 5 seed.
Things feel doom and gloom (and the Buss family are a collection of jokes) but we've got some slim home for an easy 1st round matchup with OKC. We've got some pieces to move around this summer and perhaps another shot to win it net year. Perhaps a rebuild is an attractive sounding path right now but rebuilding through the draft is almost impossible. Very few teams have done it that way. Wait til LeBron retires, hope we can win by then, and then sign our next stars - which there are many stars who might be happy to make the jump to LA by then. |

Because that's the most realistic way he's going to win another championship before falling off or retiring. Not just here, but on any team he goes. Does he deserve the $60-mil per year? Of course. He probably deserves even MORE than that based on the value he brings to the franchise. But he's not good enough anymore to take up that amount of the cap and still be competitive. |

True. Which is why Lebron won’t win again. He’d love to win don’t get me wrong….but there’s no way in hell he doesn’t take all the money he can get. He plans on owning an NBA team someday…that’s his main priority now, especially since he already sees himself at the GOAT with nothing to prove as a player. |

Playoffs would be easy if those were our matchups. Problem is us and the pacers are the only teams that took it seriously _________________ Kobe.
