I would not be surprised, if after 10 games or so, with the Rams in a good position to get into and do well in the playoffs, he might just ramp it up and join the team--no camp and not such a grind on the ol' bod this way. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

Would be nice to draft a depth piece at WR and a place kicker since we had the worst luck in the kicking dept recently. |

Oh man, didn't realize Travis was still on the board until the Jets nabbed him, if your willing to be patient for him to heal up from that devastating leg injury he could be a franchise QB. After The older Stafford don't like the QB depth chart. |

Can still draft Brenden Rice in the 6th round and keep the kid in town while gaining dad Jerry as a possible motivational speaker for the squad |

About where you might expect it, the Rams got a kicker, the guy from Stanford, and considered by CBS Sports as the #1 kicker. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

I think the Rams are having a fantastic draft. And the Stanford kicker is legit. And unlike the Bears, we didn't take him in the 4th Round! (They took the best punter in the draft in the 4th Round.) |

Quote: | At No. 213, the Rams are picking Texas WR Jordan Whittington. Usually around this time, certain draft picks go to possible high CFA targets who they believed would get drafted - especially for possible immediate special teams contributors as Whittington could be. Good YAC player. |

After Whittington, just added center Beaux Limmer, who had the best bench press at the Combine and started 41 games at Arkansas. Good depth on the OL. |

Quote: | At pick No. 254, their final selection in this year's draft, the Rams are taking guard KT Leveston, a depth pick who Dane Brugler notes has the right power and frame, but needs more developing at the position. He did previously play tackle. |

I read something where that could actually be a possibility given that AD always keeps himself in shape and pull an Eric Weddle to come back for the playoffs. How awesome would that be? Skip training camp and the regular season battering only to come back fresh and ready to dominate the playoffs. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.

If the new young D-line can emerge into what it looks to be... that would be incredible to watch! |

I could certainly see something like that. I think he has not yet played his last NFL down but we shall see, I can also understand wanting to relax a bit after doing it at the highest level for as long as he has. But maybe that competitive itch comes back! _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I don't know if he would come back just for the playoffs.
But I can see him coming back after the BYE week and start off with some light reps to start and slowly start to ramp things up heading into the playoffs. Even for him, I think it would be hard to expect him to be in playoff game shape after having sat for a full calendar year. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

It looks like the Rams are changing their training camp location. The Saints are having their training camp at UC Irvine. It appears the Rams will be moving to Loyola Marymount University this year. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Yeah, I'd agree....I did mean to say a couple of games - at least - before the playoffs. We shall see and one can hope. First, we have to be that good that late in order for it to even be a possibility. The pre-ranking pundits don't like us rn for some reason. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.
